Jennifer Bensinger Katz, LCSW
Jennifer Bensinger Katz is a licensed clinical social worker with over 10 years of experience in therapeutic day and mainstream school settings as well as in multi-disciplinary pediatric clinics.
She also has a Masters of Jurisprudence with a specialization in Child and Family Law and works frequently with families going through the divorce process. Jennifer has experience treating children and adolescents challenged by trauma, developmental disabilities, anxiety, ADHD, depression, and difficulties with adjustment/transition.
Many kiddos who struggle with school, relationships, and difficult behaviors see her as a source of support and as someone who “gets them,” because Jen always meets them where they’re at.
Jennifer cares deeply about each client and family with whom she works and building rapport seems effortless for her. Jennifer believes collaboration and communication with families, school personnel, and other service providers is fundamental to the therapy process. Jen has a lot of experience with IEP and 504 meetings and can help advocate for her clients in the school setting.
